Singing Instruction

As a singer (professional or amateur), you want to be sure that your voice is healthy and your singing technique is sound. You may want to develop confidence and stage presence, improve breath control, perhaps even build repertoire and style. Most importantly, however, you'll want to prevent damage to the speaking and singing voice or eliminate existing vocal cord nodules, voice strain, or hoarseness, and build range, power, and vocal stamina.

At the Professional Voice Care Center, a voice therapist-singing teacher will create a personalized program for total voice care. Almost immediately, you'll find that utilizing the program results in a reduction in voice strain and abusive vocal behaviors. Range, power, and stamina improve, as does breath control. Because we are licensed speech pathologists, we can also help you improve your speaking voice, even reduce or develop an accent for acting roles. Our modern studio is equipped with electronic and digital keyboards, PA system, and professional accompaniment to simulate actual performance conditions. Audio and video equipment is also available on-site for feedback and evaluation.
